Constitution-Tribune, Chillicothe, Missouri, 19 January 1959, MRS. LUCILLE MCGILL DIES IN ST. JOSEPH
Mrs. Lucille McGill, widow of Dr. W. J. McGill of St. Joseph, died this morning at 9 o'clock at the Missouri Methodist hospital in St. Joseph. Mrs. McGill had been ill for several months and a patient in the hospital two weeks. Mrs. McGill, after the death of her husband, went to Los Angeles and made her home with her son, Dr. Paul McGill and after his death, she returned to St. Joseph and had made her home at the Robidoux Hotel. Mrs. McGill, the former Miss Lucille Rockhold, daughter of Spencer and Mary Catharine (Knox) Rockhold was born near Dawn. Her parents died when she was a small child. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in St. Joseph. The time of the service has not been arranged. Mrs. McGill was well known in Chillicothe, having frequently visited in the home of her cousin, Mrs. J. A. Boucher.
