William Franklin Utter, 80, a sheep-herder for the Bryant-Jolley Sheep Co., died of a heart attack at a sheep camp in the Big Horn Mountains Thursday morning.

Mr. Utter had lived in the Big Horn Basin for 26 years.

He was born Feb. 14, 1882, in Ainsworth, Neb., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Utter.

Survivors include two daughters, Stella and Amy; two brothers, including Lester of Powell, WY, and four sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell, with the Rev. H.G. Butler of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell city cemetery.

He had been a resident of the Big Horn basin for 26 years, living in the Cowley and Lovell areas.

He was born Feb. 14, 1882, at Ainsworth, Neb., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Utter. He is survived by two daughters, Stella and Amy; two brothers, Lester of Powell and Leo of Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. Amy Campbell of California, Mrs. Edith Hendricks of Arkansas and Mrs. Myrtle Cook of California and Mrs. Lillian Payne of Nebraska.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell, with the Rev. H.G. Butler of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell city cemetery.
