James Anderson was a graduate of Coffee County Highschool, South Georgia College and The University of Georgia. He was the son of James "J.F." and Fannie Anderson and the brother of Nancy Olyowski. He was also the father of James Franklin Anderson III, Laura Ashley Anderson, and Susanna Kathryn Anderson. He had four grandchildren. He was a wonderful father and friend to his children.
