Funeral services for Margaret Janiece Jones (Adamson) Cure, of Yukon, formerly of El Reno, were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 21, 2011, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, located at 100 N. Barker, El Reno, OK. Rev. Tom Duckett officiated. Interment was in the El Reno Cemetery. "Jan," as she was known to friends and family, went to be with the Lord Thursday Morning, March 17, 2011, due to a brief struggle with cancer. She died in her home surrounded with peace and the love of her family. She was born on March 12, 1935 in El Reno, OK, the daughter of Henry Albert and Margaret Georgia (Burton) Jones. She was born and raised in El Reno and was a 1953 graduate of El Reno High School. She married Harold Cure on September 16, 1977. She has resided in Yukon for 48 years. Employed by Williams-Sonoma call center in Oklahoma City for over a decade, she loved working with people and chose to continue working through the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Albert and Margaret Georgia (Burton) Jones; sister, Alberta Chambers, and her husband, Robert W. Chambers; brother, Verle Ray Jones. She is survived by her husband, Harold "Huzz" Cure, of the home; sons, Steve Adamson and wife Pamela of Yukon, OK; Bryan Adamson and wife Meleata of Piedmont, OK; and daughter, Brenda McNeely and husband Elbert "Bo" of Piedmont, OK. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, with 3 additional great-grandchildren on the way. The family has suggested donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society .
