Services for J. R. "Ray" Cash, 76, 1111 Sycamore St., who died at 12:55 p.m. Saturday at McCune Brooks Hospital, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Park Cemetery. Ed White, minister, will officiate.
Mr. Cash was born March 5, 1909, in Carthage and was a lifelong area resident. He was employed as a fixed base operator at the Carthage airport. He was a 30 year member of the fire patrol of Missouri Conservation Department. He was a member of the First Christain Church. He married Myrtle Cole on Nov. 30, 1929, in Carthage. She survives.
Other survivors include a son Raymond W. Cash Joplin; a sister Mrs. Eleanor Jordan, Springfield; a grandchild and a great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at The Knell Mortuary until 8 p.m. today. Pallbearers were Dale Probert, Jim Frerer, Marvin Hodson, Ray Younger, Bob Hood and Ben Bliler.
