Anah (Meetlen) Barklow, w/o James Barklow(1790-1860). Born in Northumberland (now Union) Co.,PA., the d/o Patrick Metlin(1752-1825) & Sarah Thomas(1757-1838). Of Scotch & Welsh ancestry. Emigrated to Stephenson Co.,IL w/ husband and family in 1848. Came to Oregon in 1872 with sons, John Y., David, Samuel and their families.
