Mrs. Mary Gallagher of 1115 Missouri Ave., this city, on March 16, 1957. Fond mother of Miss Florence Gallagher, Mrs. Martin (Alice) Johnson; dear sister of Mrs. Gussie Hayward, Mrs. Florence Luce, Mrs. Ella Wilson, Mrs. Bertha Rinker, Scott and Rudolph Emme; our grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. Member of the Rob Morris Chapter No. 98 of Eastern Star. Reposing at Schroeppel Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill., until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, then removed to St. John's Evangelical Church for funeral at 2 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Eastern Star service 8 p.m. Monday at Funeral Home.

MRS. GALLAGHER RITES TUESDAY:

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Blanche Gallagher, 79, of 1115 Missouri Ave., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Collinsville. The Rev. C.H. Kuhlmann, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belleville.

The Order of the Eastern Star will conduct services at 8 p.m. today at Schroeppel Chapel, Collinsville.

Mrs. Gallagher died at 8:55 a.m. Saturday at Christian Welfare Hospital, where she had been a patient 28 days. She had been ill six weeks.

A native of Everett, Pa., Mrs. Gallgher had lived here 56 years. She was the widow of Anthony Gallagher, an East St. Louis police officer who died in 1922.

She was a member of St. John's Church and Rob Morris Chapter 98 of the O.E.S.

Survivors include two daughters; Miss Florence Gallagher of East St. Louis and Mrs. Martin (Alice) Johnson of Baton Rouge, La.; four sisters Mrs. Gussie Hayward of Westley, Maine, Mrs. Florence Luce of Newport, Maine, Mrs. Emma Wilson of Upper Darby, Pa., and Mrs. Bertha Rinker of Hatboro, Pa.; two brothers Scott and Rudolph Emme, both of Philadelphia; one grandson, and two great-grandchildren.
