Buddy Lowell Barnes, 77, Fairview, Mo., died at 11:10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at his home, following a lengthy illness. He was born May 17, 1931, in Weatherford, Texas, to Benjamin E. and Geraldine (King) Barnes.Mr. Barnes moved to Missouri in 1968 from Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a cattle farmer. Buddy married Patsy Jean Adams, July 2, 1952 in Dimmitt, Texas. She preceded him in death in March, 1995. He later married Patricia Henderson-Posinski, Dec. 27, 1997, in Tontitown, Ark. She survives. Additional survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Larry Abramovitz, Fairview, Mo., Vickie and Rick Larkin, Neosho, Mo., Denise and George Salzman, San Antonio, Texas, Patrese Barnes, Neosho, Mo.; two stepsons and daughter-in-law, Rob and Melissa Posinski, Springdale, Ark., Tom Posinski, Fayetteville, Ark.; a foster brother, Austin Perkins, Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Maryonna McFerrin, Weatherford, Texas; six grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and seven great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a sister, Nova Smith, in 1997. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Dice Cemetery, Fairview, Mo.
