Stella Del Losso
Longtime Sharon pin league secretary had lived in Farrell
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Stella Del Losso, Binghamton, formerly of Farrell, went to be with her Lord on Thursday afternoon, April 25, 2002, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Mrs. Del Losso was born in New Bedford, Mass., a daughter of Anthony Pieleck and Mary Gaylic Pieleck.
She was the secretary for 17 years for the largest mixed retired bowling league in the nation, based at Thornton Hall Lanes in Sharon.
Mrs. Del Losso was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, where she was a former member of its Altar/Rosary Society; and belonged to Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Endwell, N.Y.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Del Losso, who died in 1980.
Mrs. Del Losso is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and James Wortman, Endwell.
"Gram" was the adored grandmother of Mrs. James (Linda) Cerra, Apalachin, N.Y.; Carol Wortman, Sea Bright, N.J.; David Wortman, Boca Raton, Fla.; Brian Wortman, Endicott, N.Y.; Joseph Del Losso, Lake Worth, Fla.; Anthony Del Losso, Farrell; and Michael Del Losso, Hermitage.
Survivors also include: four great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Thelma Pieleck, Hermitage; Catherine Catoldi, Crockett, Calif.; Mrs. Ralph (Ethel) Infante, Sharon; Mrs. Ernest (Violet) Gatta, Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Del Losso was preceded in death by a son, Joseph A. Del Losso, in 1978; twin daughters, Josephine and Frances Del Losso, in 1935; and a granddaughter, Diane Del Losso, also in 1978.

Service: Funeral Mass at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the church, with the Rev. Thomas A. Hobbes, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial: With committal service at 10:30 a.m. Friday (5-3-02) at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage, with the Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, officiating.
