BARLEY - Leona M. Barley of 19102 Highway 126, Walton passed away January 19, 1978 at the age of 68. She was born March 8, 1911 in Estacada, Oregon and was married July 5, 1929 in Eugene to Samuel Barley. She had lived in Oregon all her life and moved to the Walton area approximately 30 years ago. Her lifetime occupation was mother and good cook. She is survived by her husband, Samuel, 2 children, Leon M. of Walton, Laura Alice Bonnie of Florence; 2 sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wallace of Springfield, Mrs. Mary Blankenship of Reedsport; 1 aunt, Lavena Hertz of Santa Cruz, California; 1 uncle, Fred Marshall of Estacada; 2 grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter.; 9 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, January 23, 1978 at 10:30 a.m. in CHAPEL OF MEMORIES FUNERAL HOME, 3745 West 11th, Eugene. Pastor Clifford C. Emery of the Florence Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment in West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation today until 8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
