Zera Elizabeth Sparks, 70, of Sulphur Springs died November 16th at 11:55 pm in a Sulphur Springs nursing home. Mrs Sparks was born September 22, 1901 in Commerce, the daughter of Abe B and Lois Bishop. She married John Wesley Sparks, September 23, 1920 in Commerce. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her Husband; a son, John Sparks, Jr and wife Ruby of Saltillo; a daughter Doris Jean Combs and husband Monroe of Bonanza; two sisters, Louise Tigner of Fort Worth; and Olene Haas of East Tawakoni; grandchildren Reba Irene Sparks Osborn, Don Combs, Margaret Sparks Cook, Linda Sparks Wilhelm, John W Sparks III and David Combs; and seven great-grandchildren.
