Naomi Zundel Anderson, age 82, passed away July 31, 1998 in Salt Lake City from causes incident to age.
She was born January 14, 1916 in Brigham City, Utah to John Henry and Dagmar Sorensen Zundel.
She married G. Maurice Anderson October 15, 1951.
Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He passed away January 6, 1975.
Naomi graduated from the LDS Hospital School of Nursing and worked for many years as a public health nurse.
She was also Head Nurse on the Pediatric Unit of the University of Utah Medical Center for 10 years.
Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother who will long be remembered for her patient nurturing of many children.
Naomi is survived by her children, Marsha (Mark) Adams, Lynn Anderson, Elaine (Michael) Hess, Shelly (Lloyd) Nelson; 10 grandchildren; brother, Wayne Zundel; cousin, June Sholty; and three sisters-in-law.
Preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Monday evening, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
