From "The Mexia Daily News", page 1, published on May 22, 1958:
Junius, owner and manager of the Mexia Hotel was shot and killed by a roomer, M. J. McDonald. Junius was shot five times with a .22 caliber pistol, according in Chief of Police Bill Parten. Chief Parten also stated that the hotel owner was dead when police arrived. This infor posted on ancestry.com.
