"Lulu Bell Anderson was born in Dumas, Arkansas. She was one of six children born to the union of David Hatton, Sr. and Annie B. Ware. She was raised in Dumas, Arkansas where she attended school.
"Lulu was joined in marriage to Johnny Williams and to this union Alfred Lee Williams, Sr. (Sam) was born. She later moved to Seattle in 1946 where she met Waymon Anderson and was married April 22, 1952, and was happily married until he departed this life on January 23, 1979.
"Lulu was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved people and people loved her. She remained a widow indeed until she departed this life Wednesday, January 2, 1991. Mrs. Anderson was employed by Overall Laundry Supply and retired after 25 years of service. She has been a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for many years.
"Mrs. Anderson leaves to mourn, her son Alfred Lee Williams, Sr.; brothers David Hatton, Jr. and Willie B. Hatton; sisters Mary Lee Harris and Daisy Jackson; brothers-in-law Oscar Ray Vinson and Hunter Anderson; sisters-in-law Alice Hatton, Rena Reasby, Birtha Lee Vinson and Ethel Lee Anderson; granddaughters Marsha Matthews and Latease Williams; grandsons Ted Williams and Alfred Lee Williams, Jr. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends."
