Flora Estlee Nicholson, age 94, of Floral, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 8, 2005. Born in Ida, Arkansas, on July 30, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Oma (Lacy) Kennedy. Mrs. Nicholson was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Nicholson, on August 26, 1987. She is survived by three daughters, Jessie Whorrall of Heber Springs, and Belle M. Wilson and Ettie L. Craven, both of Floral; and her grandchildren. Mrs. Nicholson is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 11, at 2:00 p.m. in Chastain Chapel Church with Rev. Emmett Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
