David Preston Dulin, "T-Bear" to his friends, was born September 18, 1953, to Harold and Virginia Logan Dulin in Springfield, Missouri, and died November 29, 2006, in his home in Hurley, Missouri, at the age of 53. He graduated from Hurley High School and from an electronics technical school in Kansas City. He worked for many years at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas, and later for Applied Digital in Branson. For the past year he worked for Arc of the Ozarks in Springfield. He loved music and composed his own lyrics and music for piano and guitar. David was of the Methodist faith. David was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dulin, and is survived by his mother, Virginia Glossip and stepfather Herman Glossip, Brookline; stepmother Louella Dulin, Brookline; three brothers, John and wife Jo, Savannah, Georgia, Jim and wife Marge, Crane, Missouri, Paul and wife Sharon, Brookline; two sisters, Pat and husband Dan Wakefield, West Point, New York, and Kathleen Dulin, Brookline; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. David was also godfather to the children of his best friend Ken Kessler and wife Joan of Dallas, Texas. Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. today, followed by a brief memorial service at 2 p.m., and burial in Highlandville Cemetery on EE Highway. Stumpff Funeral Home will be in charge of the services. Contributions can be made to the Arc of the Ozarks through Stumpff.
