AM, Thursday, May 14, 2009 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West
Monroe, LA with Minister Ray Paseur officiating. Interment will follow at
Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens 8729 Cypress Street, West Monroe, LA under the
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Howard was born June 13, 1925 in Hodge, LA and passed away May 11, 2009 in
West Monroe, LA. He was superintendent at Longview Construction for over 25
years and for three years with Nuco Construction Company. Mr. Howard served in
the SeaBee's during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and
three brothers.
Mr. Howard is survived by his wife of 34 years Louise Bozarth Howard; children
Preston Payne and wife Dianne and Cynthia Diane Young and husband Mark;
brothers, James Howard and Kenneth Howard; sister, Mary Jane Sylve; number of
nieces and nephews; four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
Pallbearers are Harold Traylor, Troy Harper, Harry Maroney, Gene Chapman,
Malcolm Hartman, and Huey Russell.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
