Merigold, Miss. resident Christa Adean Henderson Hoffman, 90, died Sunday, Aug. 28, in a Shawnee hospital.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Cleveland Cemetery with Dr. Gene Henderson and the Rev. James Hoffman officiating.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville, Miss
∼She was the daughter of William Hugh "Will" Henderson and Alma D. Crews of Water Valley, Yalobusha Co., MS.

MERIGOLD - Graveside services for Christa Adean Henderson Hoffman, 90, of Merigold, who died of heart failure Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at Unity Medical Center in Shawnee, Okla., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in New Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland.
Mrs. Hoffman was retired from Baxter Labs, where she worked for 26 years. A native of Water Valley, she resided on Sunflower Plantation at Merigold for about 68 years, where she was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She also enjoyed serving as entertainer for her large extended family. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Noel Hoffman; and a son, Herman Hoffman.
She is survived by a son, the Rev. James Hoffman of Shawnee; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Dr. Gene Henderson and the Rev. James Hoffman will officiate at the services.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and her nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville.
