HANCOCK, CHARLES BENJAMIN. Organized the first stock brokerage firm in the county in 1917 and still includes this business among his numerous activities. Came to Bluefield in March, 1898 and aided in the formation of the Bluefield Hardware Company. Organized the Bluefield Furniture Company in 1900, and remained as president of the company until 1932. Married Ora L. Hunter of Charlotte County, Va., November 10, 1900. They have seven sons.
