He was the son of Peter and Hannah Flora Boocher. He married Alice May Martin on December 21, 1896.
Wabash County Health Department on cause of death was Cariac Benal Disease.

Death Follows Hiccoughs.
Ezra Boocher, a well known farmer of this locality, died at his home north of North Manchester Wednesday morning. He been in falling health for some time but the immediate cause of death was hiccoughs. The funeral will be held at the Fairview Church Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. Noah McCoy of Columbia City will conduct the service and burial will be in the cemetery.
Surviving his wife, Alice, with eight children:
Mrs. Ralph Creager, Ruby, ALbert, Oscar, George, Leroy and Wilson, all of this locality, and Louis of South Bend. One sister, Mrs. Catherine Brookins, who lives on West Fourth street. She is in very feeble health.
Ezra died at the age of 68 years, 9 months, and 8 days.
