Funeral services for Mrs. Anita R. Abel 50, of 1111 10th St. N.E., Auburn, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the White River United Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. The Price-Helton Funeral Home, Auburn, will direct burial in Washington Memorial Park. She died yesterday in a hospital.
Born in Greenwood, Wis., Mrs. Abel moved to Auburn in 1937 from Garrison, N.D. She was a past president of the Lions club auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Edward; four daughters, Mrs. Orville S. Aldrich, Auburn, Mrs. Thomas A. Brown, Kent, Mrs. Gene W. Prescott, Tacoma and Mrs. James L. Tessandore, Federal Way; her mother, Mrs. Freida Meier; a sister, Mrs. William Abel and two brothers, Alvin and Arthur Meier, all of Tacoma.
The family suggested remembrances to the White River United Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
