A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, in the Aurora Presbyterian Church for Dorothy L. Colvin, who died April 17 at age 97.
Dorothy L. Jeskey was born March 26, 1911, in Ophir, Calif., and moved to Aurora at age 10. A homemaker, she was member of the church, as well as the Cascade Singers and Greters at the Cascade Park Retirement Center in Woodburn before moving to Mount Angel a year ago. On October 29, 1929 she married Henry Colvin; he died in 1991.
Survivors include her son, Ward; daughters Doris Blakely, Marilyn Fisher and Lucille Bailey; step-daughter Pearle Haek; sister Eleanor Bond; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Remembrances to the church. Arrangements by Simon-Woodburn.
