Mrs. C. C. Bullar expired in the home at 1613 Edith street, at 6:25 o'clock Thursday evening, January 10, 1929, of dropsy, after two years' illness.

Deceased was born at Cambridge, Ohio, May 11, 1862, to
David and Mary Clipper, united in marriage with C. C. Bullar, deceased, and is survived by the following sons and daughters: C. D. Bullar and C. A. Bullar, Jennie and Alma Bullar, at home; Mrs. C. J. Keppler, Union, Mo.; Mrs. Orville McBride, Wood River, I11.; Mesdames W. Roseberry, Otto Alheim,[sic] W. F. Whitson. Geo. Bauer and Jake Berger of Murphysboro. Three of the children died. Brothers and sisters surviving are Chas., Jobe and Robert Clipner and Mrs. Wm. Newman, Murphysboro; Mrs. George Thomas and Asa Tyler, East St. Louis; Mrs. Pat Strawhun, Newberg, Mo., and Mrs. Hosa Venus, Muskogee. Okla.

The husband died here April 4, 1914, after a long and worthy life of activity in Murphysboro. Practically all of her life was passed here. The Bullar home on Edith street is in the pioneer division of the city's best.

Mrs. Bullar, the mother of a large family, was an ideal home woman. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and of Miriam Rebekah and Eastern Star lodges. Her passing will occasion sincere sorrow in many of the city's oldest homes.

Funeral services wi11 be conducted in the Presbyterian church at Walnut and 15th streets, Sunday afternoon beginning at 2 o'clock. Rev. R. B. Guthrie, pastor, will preside.

The remains will be interred in City Cemetery.
