Shelbyville Democrat, Wednesday, September 29, 1915, "Mrs Susanna Adams Died this Morning - PASSED AWAY AT HER HOME, 212 S. PIKE ST., AT AN EARLY HOUR -- FUNERAL FRIDAY"
Mrs. Susanna M., wife of Henry Adams, 65 years old, died at her home, 212 S. Pike street, at one-forty o'clock this morning, death resulting froma complication of diseases from which she had been suffering for the past few weeks. Mrs. Adams was born December 31, 1850, in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, and came with her parents, Jacob and Katherine Rummel, to Cambridge City, Ind., when she was but eight years of age. She was married January 23, 1868, to Henry Adams and to this union two children were born, who, with the husband, survive. They are Mrs. Harry Espenscheid , of south Harrison street, this city, and Leora B., of Indianapolis. One brother,J. M. Rummel , of Hagerstown, Ind., and one grandchild, Mrs. D. M.Crumrine, of Marion, Ind., also survive. The funeral services will be held at the late home Friday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. E. R. North, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be made in Forest Hill cemetery, Ralph J. Edwards, undertaker, in charge.
