ROSEVILLE - Rex N. Lozier, 89, of Roseville died at 5:15 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2001, at LaMoine Christian Nursing Home. Born June 23, 1911, in Larchland to William B. and Linnie C. Crosier Lozier, he married Opal Anderson on April 2, 1936, in Knoxville. She died Oct. 4, 1993. Three brothers also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Darliss (Mrs. Darrell) Page of Roseville and Karen (Mrs. Frank) Kelly of Allen, Texas; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He farmed in the Roseville area. He also had worked at Western Stoneware in Monmouth and later at Twomey Co. in Smithshire. He also had measured farm ground for the ASCS office of Warren County. He was a 4-H leader. He was a member of Roseville United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the Warren County Historical Society and Sleepy Eye Antique Pottery Club. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Corman Memorial Home in Roseville, where visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to LaMoine Christian Nursing Home or to his church.
