ALBERT AIKENS, 83, of Cutler, Expires In Frankfort Hospital
CUTLER, Ind., April 12--Albert R. Aikens, 83, retired farmer died Sunday at the Clinton County hospital, Frankfort, where he was taken last Thursday following a stroke.
He was born in Carroll county west of Cutler on February 9, 1865, son of John and Julia Aikens. He was married in February, 1890 to Martha Ashby, who died July 9, 1944.
Four children were born to the couple, three of whom survive. Mrs. Trula Trobaugh of Burlington, and Guy and Kenneth Aikens, both of Cutler; also five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One son, Lester, died in infancy. Mr. Aikens was a member of the Flora Christian Church.
The body is at the residence in Cutler. Final rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cutler Presbyterian Chruch. Rev. Harry odell in charge, assisted by the Rev. Dale Brubaker. Burial will be in Ball Hill Cemetery.
