Sonia Barber

Sonia B. Barber, 56, of Grandview, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1992, as a result of an automobile accident near Mount Pleasant.
Born Jan. 23, 1935, in Muscatine, she was the daughter of Charles and Eva Baker
Schreiber. She married Rollie "Junior" Dean Barber Nov. 15, 1952, in Wapello.
She worked at the Jack and Jill Grocery Store in Wapello. Before that she worked as a
home health aide in Louisa County.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Cindy Barber of Muscatine, and Lynda
Riley of Davenport; one son, Michael Barber of Muscatine; one brother, Robert Schreiber of Muscatine, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
The funeral for Mrs. Barber will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
