Mrs. Julia Leahy, 101, died Friday at the homestead farm in the town of Mosel, Sheboygan County, where she resided 80 years. Mrs. Leahy was well known in Manitowac County and particularly in the Osman area.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday at St. Clement Catholic Church, Sheboygan. The Rev. Robert D. Kelly will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan.
Mrs. Leahy was born Apr. 17, 1860, in the town of Sheboygan, daughter of the late John and Ellen Buckley Hurley. She was married Oct. 24, 1881, to Daniel Leahy. He died Oct. 13, 1927.
Surviving her are three sons, Sylvester with whom she had made her home, and Arthur and Frank of Sheboygan, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A son and two daughters preceded her in death.
