from *THE PARIS NEWS, 13 Mar 1951. 'Norman V. Faught, 49, died unexpectedly of a heart attack, Monday at 10:30 p.m. at home, 1005 Connor Place. He had retired last August as manager of Hugh Palmer Motor Company because of ill health, but had continued his other activities as usual. The Rev. Wesley V. Hite of First Methodist Church will conduct the funeral, Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. T.C. Faught, here; his wife, the former Miss Frances Elizabeth (Frankie) Wright of Deport; a foster son, Harlan E. Wright, younger brother of his wife, whom they reared; a brother, F. Wilburn (Buddy) Faught; Miss Josephine Faught, Paris; Mrs. Harve N. Langley, Pryor, Okla.; Mrs. James A Latham, Muskogee, Okla., and Mrs. L. Waggoner, Talequah, Okla. Born in Paris, 18 Sep 1902, Norman Faught was a son of the late T.C. (Coley) Faught and wife, formerly Miss Mae E. Looney. He attended Paris schools and belonged to First Methodist Church, of which he was a steward. He married Miss Wright, 23 May 1924. She is a department manager of Ayres store here. He had been in the automobile business here ever since he grew up. He was formerly a partner in the Faught Motor Company, but most of the time, had been associated with Hugh L. Palmer.'Buried next to Francis Faught Griffin. She remarried R C Griffin after Mr. Faught died.
