Mrs. Floyd had been in poor health since an automobile accident in 1954. She was the wife of J. B. Floyd, co-owner of Schmitz Floyd Hamlett Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. The Rev. John Marvin, pastor , and the Rev. Martin Thomas, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Born in Stonewall, Oklahoma, April 7, 1920, Mrs. Floyd married J. B. Bloyd in Denton December 25, 1939. She was the former Miss Eleanor Case Porter.
Mrs. Floyd attened Denton High School and TWU. She was a member of St. Andrew Presbhyterian Church.
Survivors indlude her husband; one son, Jimmy Floyd; her mother, Mrs. Cora Porter of Denton, her grandmother Mrs. Cora Case Porter of Ada, Oklahoma; and two aunts, Mrs. Warren C. Fay of Fort worth and Mrs. Faye Laws of Wyoming.
