William F. Graham was the son of Matthew Graham II and Mary Freeman Graham. Matthew Graham II was one of the first pioneers of western Penna., Cranberry Twp., Butler County. He was married to Elizabeth Shearer. She was born October 11,1811 in Whitestown, Beaver Co., Pa. and died June 1, 1845 in Brush Creek, Cranberry Twp., Butler Co., PA. They had six children: Mary Ann Graham, Matthew Graham, John Washington Graham, Amelia Graham, Joseph Graham, and William Freeman Graham Jr.. After Elizabeth passed away, he married Maria Pearce. They also had six children: Charlotte Susan Graham, Huldah Graham, Austin Graham, James L.Graham, Edwin F. Graham, and Ella Graham. Maria Pearce Graham lived to be almost 94 years old.
