According to family story, Lucille was part Indian. It was about the time shortly before she died when a family member said that we must have every kind of blood in us but Indian and then she said that Grandmother Byrom was part Indian. Before this she had said that she and her siblings were so dark complected because they were part Black Dutch. Lucille and her parents moved to Big Spring Texas in 1917.
Also later in life she married Joe Jacobs
