Funeral services for Mrs. Eve Alford, age 60, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 1997 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel with Rev. Dale Hensarling, pastor of Love Chapel United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be at Hill Crest Cemetery. Mrs. Alford will lie in state from 3 p.m. Friday until service time on Saturday.
Mrs. Alford passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 1997 in Haughton, LA following a sudden illness. She was a native of Columbia, LA and a resident of Haughton, LA most of her life. Mrs. Alford was a member of Love Chapel United Methodist Church of Haughton, LA.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald R. Alford of Haughton, LA; 4 sons, Don Alford and his wife Pat of Houston, TX, Barry Alford of Buffalo, NY, Eric and his wife Lisa of Ft. Worth, TX, and Shawn Alford of Hattisburg, MS; one daughter, Susan McKissick and her husband Tony of Texarkana, TX; two sisters, Sybil Casso of Baton Rouge, LA and Sue Kandoul of Metarie, LA; two brothers, A. D. Alford of Washington State and James Alford of Baton Rouge, LA; 5 grandchildren, Ian Alford, Ryan, Heather and Heath McKissick and Joshua Alford; and a host of nieces and nephews.
