Dixie Lee DeVoe, 73, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 23, 1942, in Greene County, Ohio, the daughter of Sam and Mary Ater Noble. She is survived by her husband, Ronald “Gabby” DeVoe, who she married September 16, 1961, two daughters, Mary Jo (David) Campbell, Cedarville, and Karen (Rodney) Wissel, Beavercreek, four grandchildren, Blake Olen “Opie” Campbell, Cedarville, Kayla Lee Campbell, and fiancé, Jon Sweeney, Michigan City, IN, Jenna Nicole Wissel, and Carson Joseph Wissel, of Beavercreek, brother-in-law, Glenn (Jerri) DeVoe, Xenia, sisters-in-law, Carol Jean Noble, Cedarville, Shirley Glennen, Maryland, Norma Tidd, Jamestown, and Betty Devoe, Xenia, by several nieces and nephews, by many close friends, and by her lifetime pet companion, Charlie. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Helen Rae Hawker, and by a brother, Sam “Bruz” Noble, Jr. Dixie was a devoted wife, mom, and grandma who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private graveside services will be held by the family at Beaver Cemetery, Beavercreek. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH, 45409, in her memory.
