Frankfort- Services for Helen Crutcher Smith Miller, 79 yrs., of Frankfort, will be conducted from Harrod Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009. Rev. David Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford Co. Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, 2009 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center following an illness.

A native of Franklin Co., she was born, July 6, 1929 and was retired from Union Underwear. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Eastern Star and North Frankfort Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Miller; sons, Frankie (Amy) Miller, Robert (Linda) Miller, both of Frankfort, Ray (Nancy) Miller, Lawrenceburg; a brother, Charles E. Smith, Frankfort; sisters, Mary L. Gaines, Lawrenceburg, Stella Cook, Pearlie Pulliam and Sue S. Gravitt, all of Frankfort; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Henry Irvine and Alice Lillian Shingleton Smith and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Sue Mitchell, a brother, Henry Eugene Smith and a sister, Pettie Cornish.

Pallbearers will be Richard Smith, Bill Smith, Charlie Miller, Bruce McKinney, Scott Knight and Jerry Yount. Honorary bearers will be Ricky Gaines, David Gaines, Doug Gaines, Charles Cook, Tommy Cook, Matthew Cook, Randall Wash, Jimmy Smith, Philip Smith and David Cornish.
