MYRTLE EFFIE WELCH was born 14 October 1914 in Speedwell, Claiborne county TN, and died on 05 January 2006, Knoxville, Knox county TN. MYRTLE is the daughter of CHARLES OSCAR WELCH [s/o Willis Green Welch & 2nd wife, Martha Sharp] and SUSAN ANN RILEY [d/o Thomas Riley & 2nd wife, Elizabeth Catherine Norton]. Her siblings are: Mary Magdeline (Welch) Leach; Luther Green Welch; Ethel Mae (Welch) Malonee; Emma Sue (Welch) Brackett; Dallas Idalee (Welch) Sowder; John Horace Welch.

Myrtle married first, on 22 June 1929, Bell Co KY, JOHN ERVIN TREADWAY, by whom all her children were born: Helen (1930 KY); Ervin Jr (1932 KY); Jimmie Ray (1935 KY); Anna Belle (1938 KY). She had 14 grandchildren: Charles Lee, Claudia Jane, Paula Faye, Cathy Elaine, Deborah Sue, Steven Ray, Peggy Jo, Carlos Glen, Bobbi Ann, Charles Randall; Mark Richard, Ronald, Tammi Annette, Terri Lee; 30 great-grandchildren; and 30 great great grandchildren.

Myrtle was married secondly in 1951, Clinton, Anderson county TN, to PURCHES JACK BEELER.

A religious woman, and 'honorary' member of Faith Way Assembly of God in LaFollette TN, Myrtle now glories in Heaven in an eternal reunion with loved ones who preceeded her.
