YORK Lewis G. Grossi, 91, died Monday, May 14, 2007, at York Hospital. He was husband of the late Helen D. (Morroni) Grossi. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York, with the Rev. Joseph Tuscan, OFM Cap as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., York, is entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Grossi was born February 22, 1916, in Smithmill, Pa. He was son of the late Louis and Jennie (Folli) Grossi. He was a 1941 graduate of Penn State University and had been a mechanical engineer. He retired in 1977 as Chief Engineer from Custom Built Machinery. Mr. Grossi was a member of St. Joseph Church, the Yellow Breeches Anglers Club, and the Southern York County Fish Stocking Club. Mr. Grossi is survived by two children, Lewis G. Grossi, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, and Peggy L. Grossi and her husband, Gerald J. Vick, Jr., all of York; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruno J. Grossi of Harrisburg; and a sister, Joann Reilly of Harrisburg.
