JOHN F. STUCKI
John F. Stucki was born in Canton Berne, Switzerland, on December 19, 1850 and passed to the great beyond on November 10, 1920.

In 1855 he came with his parents to Madison, Wisconsin and six years later moved to Berne, Minnesota where he had since resided.

He was married to Lucinda Weis in 1873, to which union 10 children were born: Mrs. Fred Yennie and Elma Stucky of Berne; Frank Stucky, Joe Stucky and Mrs. R. Kinvig of Lidgerwood, N. Dakota; Will Stucky of Backus, Minnesota; Earl Stucky and Emmett Stucky of Mora, Minnesota; Louis Stucky of West Concord, Minnesota, and Freddy Stucky who died in infancy.

The deceased was a man of noble character, a kind and loving father and one who was loved and respected by all who knew him.

Besides his wife and children he leaves to mourn his loss, 21 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs A. J. Baumgartner of Pine Island and Mrs. Kohli of Monroe, Wisconsin; a brother, Gottlieb Stucky of Pine Island and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were held at the Reformed Church at Berne, Rev. Kuhn officiating. He was laid to rest in the Berne Cemetery.
