William L. "Wild Bill" Brady, 66 of Thomasville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 14, 1947 in Hanover, he was a son of the late George L., Sr. and Pauline M. (Brodbeck) Brady.
Bill was a graduate of Hanover High School class of 1965. He went on to own and operate 1st Choice Lighting in Wylie, TX for twenty years before returning to Thomasville. He later became a PA state constable for the past several years. Bill was a member of the PA Rangers, Hampton Fire Co., McSherrystown Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hanover. He was a lifelong avid fisherman, enjoyed going to and riding bulls at local Rodeos, golfing and bowling in various leagues and traveling to tournaments. Back in the 70's Bill was the lead singer and played bass guitar in the "Starbusters" band. More recently he loved singing and leading Karaoke nights as "Wild Bill" at Mt. Holly Inn.
Bill is survived by four children, Darryl Brady, Thomasville, Donna Eisenhart, Mt. Joy, Kaitlyn Brady, Thomasville and Nathaniel Brady, Shermansdale, PA; a sister, Nancy Luckenbaugh, Thomasville; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, George Brady, Jr., Donald and Robert Brady.
A service to celebrate the life of William L. Brady will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 18th, at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Rev. Fred Mummert Officiating.
