Judith Ann (Judy) Hardy, the daughter of Frank Foster and Mary Rose (Shaull) Lossman, was born February 23, 1943, in Tiffin, Ohio. The family moved to the Tarkio area when she was three years old. Judy attended Centerview Country School, east of Tarkio, Missouri, graduating from Tarkio High School in 1961.

On June 10, 1961, Judy was united in marriage to John L. Hardy at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Tarkio. They made their home in the Tarkio area and became the parents of three children, Mary Ann, Teresa and Barb.

Judy was a farmer's wife, who devoted her time to raising and taking care of her family and helping on the family farm. She was also employed by Northwest Missouri Learning Center and was a home health care aid for the elderly in the local Tarkio area. She retired after 18 years, as a para professional from the Tarkio School system. Judy was a member of the United Methodist Church in Tarkio. John passed away January 13, 2008. Judy passed away passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 70.

Besides her parents and husband, Judy was preceded in death by brother, Wayne Lossman. Survivors include daughters, Mary Ann Hull and husband, Bill, Teresa Shaw and husband, Mike, and Barb Lee and husband, Bill, all of Tarkio; grandchildren, Krystal Anderson and her husband, Ryan, and their children, Cole and Brody Anderson, all of McFall, Missouri, Keaton and Connor Shaw and Megan and Brooke Lee, all of Tarkio; siblings, Larry Lossman, Bill Lossman, Frank "Bud" Lossman, Ron Lossman, Donna K. Ireland, Ed Lossman, and Joanne Cassidy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Monday, December 30, 2013, United Methodist Church, Tarkio.
Interment: Home Cemetery, Tarkio.
