Johnny was living at the Fairmont apartments where he went missing on Thanksgiving Day. His body was found at Princess Park on December 28, 2010. The police are still investigating his death.

Johnny gave his life to Jesus Christ when he was 16 years old, when on his own, he stepped out in the isle and walked down to the altar of the Belcher Methodist Church. He knew the Bible from the beginning to the end and really loved the Lord. He attended the Grace Baptist Church in Shreveport, La. Johnny graduated from Trinity Heights Christian Academy in Shreveport and worked some with his father on their farm in Belcher, La.

Johnny was a veteran of the United States Air force.

He is in Heaven now, talking sports to anyone who will stop and listen.

Johnny struggled with alcohol most of his adult life, but his struggle is now over and he is free because he is in the arms of his Lord and Savior. Johnny said that Jesus has promised us all eternal salvation if we only believed. Johnny believed and kept the faith and now he's home.
