Myrtle L. Williams, 79, 1406 Elmhurst Lane, died Wednesday afternoon at Bethesda Care Center.
Myrtle was born in Scott Township to the now-deceased John R. and Lily (Bell) Hopkins.
On Nov. 27, 1954, she married Lee Williams in Fremont and he survives along with sons, Edward J. (Cathy Henry) Williams and Richard J. (Brenda) Williams Sr., both of Fremont; grandchildren, Robert J. Williams Jr., Robert L. Williams and Brandi S. Williams; and sisters, Elizabeth J. Eversole of Eastlake, Isabelle Cheek of Chiloquin, Ore., Annabell Knott of Toledo and Roise Knott of Fremont. Her sister, Helen W. McCollister, preceded Myrtle along with her parents.
Myrtle was a homemaker and worked for the H. J. Heinz Co. for 10 years. She loved playing cards with family and friends and took great enjoyment from camping. She held a special place in her heart for animals of all types.
Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. today at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Todd Gates officiating. Additional visitation will be one hour before the services.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
