He was member of the Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral service was held at the Mundy Chapel September 2 with Rev. Oscar Smith and Rev. Charlie Wright officiating. Burial was in the Taylor Cemetery , with Mundy Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his wife Lucy Roysdon Delk sons, Edd and Eugene of Dayton, Ohio, Enos of Detroit, Ralph of the US Air Force, Jesse of Wartburg and Estle Delk of AZ, daughters Dorothy Gore and Ann Hooks of Detroit, one brother Albert of Oneida, TN. Sisters, Ova Morris of Oneida, Ester Smith and Reba Hamby of Dayton, Ohio, Sarah Hyder and Delphia Price of Crossville, TN and Avo Delk of PA, 27 grandchildren.
