Frances Ellen Bondurant-Williams-Pippin is my paternal Great Grandmother. She was first married on 08 Jul 1880 in Eagleville, Marion Twp, Harrison Co., Missouri, to my Great Grandfather, William Marion Williams who died 30 Oct 1892, in Norfolk, Madison Co., Nebraska, from typhoid fever. Frances Ellen Bondurant-Williams later married Bennett Preston Pippin on 04 Nov 1894 in Norfolk, Madison Co., Nebraska. She died from surgical shock after an operation for uterine cancer at 9:00 PM on 23 Apr 1912. (source: Family records and Ringer Partners reference). However her Nebraska Death Certificate states that the Cause of Death: fatty heart; Contributory (Secondary): Operated cancer of uterus. DEATH RECORD (Norfolk Daily News, April 24, 1912, page 1):
Mrs. B. P. Pippin, wife of Northwestern Conductor Pippin, died at her home 1200 South Fourth Street at 5 o'clock last night. Mrs. Pippin had been ill for several months. Yesterday she underwent an operation and death was due to a weak heart.
Mrs. Pippin was born in Tella [sic - Pella], Marion Co., Iowa., forty-eight years ago. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss three sons, Homer Williams, John Williams and Leo Williams (my grandfather), and two daughters, Mrs. Grace Parker, of this city, and Mrs. (Bessie Pink) E. F. Fisher (Edwin Forest Fisher), of Ogden, Utah, who is here. Her first husband died on Oct 5 [sic - obit error]. Death record states 30 Oct 1892], nineteen years ago. Mrs. Pippin's mother, Mrs. Bondurant, survives.
OBITUARY (Battle Creek Enterprise, Battle Creek, Madison County, Nebr, April 25, 1912, page 1):
Mrs. B. P. Pippin, mother of J. B. Williams of this place died at her home in Norfolk Wednesday evening after an operation. Mrs. Pippin is survived by a husband, three sons and two daughters.
OBITUARY (Norfolk Daily News, April 26, 1912, page 2):
MRS. B. P. PIPPIN
Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. B. P. Pippin were held at the Christian church at 2:30 Friday afternoon. Rev. Joy J. Lucas came from Kansas to conduct the services. Interment was in Prospect Hill cemetery. The pallbearers were" G. T. Sprecher, J. W. McClary, G. Colwell, C. E. Hartford, J. L. Black, W. C. Flint.
Mrs. Pippin had lived in Norfolk for many years and her death is a loss not along to her family but to many friends and neighbors, to whom her kindness of heart had always endeared her.
William and Frances had six children:

I have no records that Bennett Pippin and Frances had any children.
