Francis M. DelVecchio, 67, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at home. He was a life resident of Syracuse and 1955 graduate of CBA. He worked at Niagara Mohawk for 35 years, retiring as a line foreman in 1994. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church, a member of The Links at Sunset Ridge of Marcellus, an avid SU football and lacrosse fan, and an avid sports supporter of all six grandchildren.

Survivors: his wife of 45 years, the former Claire Duguid; three daughters: Kathy Billings of Westvale, Mary (Jim) Fox of Onondaga Hill and Michelle DelVecchio of Camillus; one sister, Donna Ivery of Camillus; a stepmother, Beatrice DelVecchio of Webster; one stepsister, Claudia Costello of Webster; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
