Earl Leroy Brown, 73, of Strasburg, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at his home. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Walter and Henrietta Reynolds Brown.

Earl served in the US Marines, obtaining the rank of Corporal. He was employed by Lukens Steel of Coatesville for 33 years as a Millwright, retiring over 11 years ago. He was a former member of the Goddard Lodge #383 F.&A.M. of Coates-ville, the Chester Co. Shrine and the Rajah Temple of Reading. He was a member of the St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Strasburg.

He is survived by two daughters, Jamie L. Reitnouer, wife of Todd, of New Holland and Shari L. Thomas, wife of Michael, of Strasburg; five grandchildren, Tasha Terry Thomas, Aleesha Thomas, Tiffani Thomas, Jason Terry and Lauren Reitnouer; siblings, Marshall Brown, husband of Harriett, Charles Brown, Margaret Glazier and Mary Regner. He is also survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia J. Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11 AM at the St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 40 E. Main St., Strasburg, PA 17579, followed by interment in the Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Church from 10 AM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Michael's Church at the above address.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
