Adams, Frank J. Age 73 years, November 13, 2003. Beloved husband of 42 years of Rita C. (nee Wabiszewski). Dear daddy of Fran, Cynthia (Allan) McPhedran and Claudia. Loving brother of Virginia (Conrad) Bierce. Further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Larger than life, Frank, the man behind the bar, entertained and catered to the who's who of Milwaukee and beyond. This Milwaukee icon began his career at Carl's Supper Club. He set the standard for the profession of bartending and hospitality in the Crown Room of the Pfister Hotel, Frenchy's and finally at the Grenadier's, where he threw the party for over 20 years. Frank will be remembered for his great humor and story-telling, as well as his ability to make people feel like they were "the greatest". Frank served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Funeral Mass Mon, Nov 17, 7pm at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1755 N. Calhoun Road, Brookfield.
