He was first married to Roxanne Cushing.
They ADOPTED a child, Mary.

I, Randy Bruyere, descendant of Thomas' brother, Urgel (Eugene) Alexander Bruyere, have done extensive research on the family, show no DNA between Thomas and Roxannes' descendants ( in Michigan and New York) through the daughter.

Thomas's second wife was Josephine Charette.
They had Josephine, Thomas, Joseph, Frank, & Alex- who died in infancy.
I am unable to find information on Alex. He was supposedly buried in the Catholic Cemetery in New Baltimore. I have called all the Catholic cemeteries & any cemetery in existence in the area @ that time & there is no record of an Alex Bruyere. I do know at times pauper infants were buried with adults & I have a feeling that is what happened. Someone probably did the family a favor because they weren't rich so there isn't a record.
