Gwen Waggoner Lane, 69, a loving mother, Nana, sister and friend, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 28, 2006. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and community, where everyone knew her as "Nana."
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at Dido United Methodist Church. Burial: Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Davis Chapel, 6912 N.E. Loop 820, North Richland Hills.

Pallbearers: Don Taylor, Grant Taylor, Daniel York, Randy Daniel, Chance Daniel and Charlie Mize.

Gwen Waggoner Lane was born March 3, 1937, in Gainesville and later moved to Saginaw, where she graduated from Northside High School. For the last 30 years, Gwen resided in the small community of Dido, and volunteered for the Ladies Auxiliary to the Dido VFD. She worked as a human resources manager for over 15 years for General Electric and retired in 2002.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, Hulen Berl Waggoner and Marie Waggoner; her sister, Frances Taylor; and son-in-law, Paul Lee.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation for the loving care provided by the staff of Haven Home Health, Lifecare Hospital, and VITAS Hospice.

Survivors: Sons, Stephen Forrer and wife, Latasha, Greg Lane and wife, Lynette; daughter, Terry Lee; brother, Kenneth Waggoner and wife, Glenna; grandchildren, Tamara Lee and husband, Daniel York, Lesli Lee, Justin Forrer, Faith Lane, Shyanne Lane, Taylor Forrer, Liam Forrer; great-grandson, Waylon York; and a host of other family and friends, most in the Fort Worth/Saginaw area.
