Ollie was the daughter of Larkin M. and Sarah M. White Norred. About 1907 she married Mr. Sam Paxton and they lived in Roanoke, AL until his death in 1916. Ollie had sold their farm by 1918 and went to live with her sister, Mattie Ray in LaFayette,AL, by 1920 she was living with another sister, Mae Hanson and her family back in Roanoke. The 1930 census shows that Ollie was living with her brother, James M. Norred in Harrisonville, Troup Co., GA.
After the death of Mae Hanson's husband in 1937, the two sisters bought and lived together in a beautiful, old house with big, white columns in LaGrange, Troup Co., GA.
Ollie was my great-grandaunt, she was a tiny woman with a big heart.
